I’ve already used part of this Henry Wotton quote for another Sherlock meme, but this was a different direction it could be taken. Recently I got discussing the phenomenon of interpersonal relations in the workplace (ironically, with someone whom I had not always gotten along with), and I came out confirmed in my conviction that the majority of people who rub you the wrong way aren’t worth getting worked up about–they won’t change, and neither would you. So, if the “enemies” in your life aren’t Sherlock or Lord Henry calibre, they should probably be demoted from the classification; don’t engage in combat with fools who don’t appreciate you.
