I think I just made a terrible mistake

In October, I seriously considered doing NaNoWriMo for the first time this year. Given the state of things and my nigh-jobless condition, it made sense.

But I didn’t really know how it worked—I would have to look into it, prepare for it.

I didn’t.

Then it was already November, and while not too late to start, I still didn’t get on it.

Then my world shut down.

And I’m like, screw it—I’m doing NaNoWriMo with ten days left to go.

So, that happened, five minutes ago.

I may update on how it goes, I may just never mention it again and pretend it was all a dream.

In fact, that is a great last line for my book. Excuse me while I go write it down. I’m putting a dent in those 50k words already.

  1. You don’t need to follow the November timeline if you’re starting now. Why not do it through December? After all, the most important thing to take away from this event is to write every day. Wishing you all the best with your project!
